Ride through the dense jungle of Bardiya catching glimpse of wildlife now and then in the largest national park of Nepal. You can also choose to go for nature walks with experienced guides and experience the wildlife experience first-hand. Bardiya National Park is about 87 kms drive to the west from our luxurious hotel. To get to the national park, we drive a few hours northwest on a road full of jungles and you might also get lucky to see a few deers and tigers in between. Additionally, there’s also an option for white water rafting on the Karnali river, where you can see the gangetic dolphins and gharials soaking in the sun.

Bardiya National Park is bordered by the Karnali river in the west, the Churia range in the north and the Babai river flows right through it. It offers an ideal habitat for various species of animals to roam around freely, which is why it is home to some of the endangered wildlife in the world. The national park consists of 30 species of mammals, more than 250 species of birds and numerous reptiles. Usually, most of the people who visit Bardiya National Park come especially to catch a glimpse of the elusive tiger.
